ARCA Tulum, the esteemed restaurant and bar hidden in the depths of the Mexican jungle, is set to make its London debut in collaboration with NoMad London Hotel, just in time for Cinco de Mayo.
On Sunday, May 5 and Monday, May 6, ARCA will bring its exotic flavors and inventive cocktails to the English capital for the very first time at NoMad London. Known for its micro-seasonal, farm-to-table cooking, ARCA is among Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants (No. 28) and North America’s 50 Best Bars (No. 23).
The festivities kick off on Sunday, May 5 at NoMad London’s Side Hustle bar and restaurant. Guests will be treated to mezcal-infused cocktails and mouthwatering Mexican-inspired small plates crafted in partnership by Liana Oster, NoMad London’s bar director, and Peter Sanchez, Global Brand Ambassador for The Lost Explorer Mezcal and ARCA’s bar director.
The celebration continues the following day at NoMad’s main restaurant. ARCA Executive Chef José Luis Hinostroza will collaborate with NoMad London’s culinary team led by Executive Chef Zak Gregoire and Executive Sous Chef Juan Hernandez to create a special six-course tasting menu that pay homage to ARCA’s local Mayan techniques and traditions. Guests will embark on a culinary adventure featuring seasonal ingredients and the art of open-fire cooking across three dishes from ARCA and another three dishes from NoMad, all complemented by optional mezcal pairings and live music.
Tickets to the dinner on Monday, May 6 are £175 per person and can be purchased on OpenTable here. Each seating incudes the full tasting menu, optional mezcal pairings and live music.
