The first Punta Mita Chef’s Table of the year is taking place January 23-26 and will feature Sal Howell, founder and owner of River Café in Calgary, plus Executive Chef Matthias Fong and members of the culinary team.
As a 27-year institution in fine dining in Calgary, River Café is currently ranked No. 28 on Canada’s Best 100 Restaurant List and has built a reputation of being one of the best eateries in the city.
January 23 – Cooking Demonstration at Pacifico Beach Club
Join Executive Chef Matthias Fong to learn his culinary techniques and kitchen secrets
January 24-26 – Dinner at Pacifico Beach Club
Chef Matthias will prepare a small, custom a la carte menu featuring his favorite locally sourced ingredients from around Punta Mita. $58
January 25 – Fish-to-Table with Chef Matthias Fong
Spend the morning fishing with Chef Matthias as guests catch fresh fish for lunch. The experience includes a four-hour fishing trip and lunch at Pacifico Beach Club for up to six people.
January 26 – Market-to-Table with Chef Matthias Fong
Visit the local markets with Chef Matthias to source fresh produce and get tips on how to choose the best produce for your home. The foodie excursion includes transportation and lunch made from the trip’s ingredients at Pacifico Beach Club for up to six people.
