Punta Mita’s newest dining outlet, Dos Catrinas at Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, has announced its first ever Catrinas Fest. Appropriately taking place over Día de Los Muertos Nov. 1-3, the three-day event will be a culinary journey through traditional Mexican cuisine and cocktails.
Led by Executive Chef Jorge González and the resort’s culinary team, the celebration will include other notable guest chefs and mixologists from around Mexico to bring the best. Guests will be able to sip and bite all weekend long during oceanfront dinners, cocktail parties and interactive cooking demos and more.
The Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita Catrina Fest package starts at $1,000 inclusive of lodging and activities.
Tertulia Night, Nov. 1
A lively welcome reception inspired by traditional Mexican tertulias (“artistic social gatherings”) greets guests with live music, craft cocktail and candlelit dinner, plus a tasting of Mexican wines, spirits and craft beers.
Día de Los Muertos, Nov. 2
A floating Mexican party at the resort’s pool will be followed by a mixologist class at Shack Bar and a class at Iku Garden to learn pre-hispanic barbacoa cooking techniques. The night closes out with a traditional Mexican family-style dinner from Dos Catrinas’ signature dishes with the resort’s own private mezcal label.
La Vida Brunch, Nov. 3
Enjoy a Sunday brunch buffet at Dos Catrinas, with mimosa cocktails, a raw bar, breakfast favorites and more.
