Everything old is new again at the Occidental Nuevo Vallarta. The all-inclusive Riviera Nayarit resort recently announced the opening of a new tower that will increase the property’s guestroom inventory to 366 rooms and suites, 92 of which will be brand new and dispersed throughout all six floors of the tower. In each of the new rooms, guests will bask in the breathtaking Pacific Coast views of Bahia de Banderas.
The $8 million project—scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2020—will provide guests with more exclusive options in selecting their rooms. The property already boasts room service, 24-hour reception, free parking, access to activities and excursions, and a Kid’s Club. The resort has four on-site restaurants and lies in close proximity to fine dining in Puerto Vallarta.
In recent years, Riviera Nayarit has gained popularity among travelers from the United States and Canada due to its reputation as a sustainable destination. The area features some of the cleanest and most picturesque beaches in Mexico, authentic cultural experiences, world class culinary offerings, and plenty of opportunities for adventure by land and sea.
