Get ready to transport to a magical Mexican wonderland at the 2018 Punta Mita Carnaval, a colorful celebration of exciting activities. This year’s theme will pay homage to Mexico during the annual event taking place Feb. 9-11. and will include food, music, drinks and dancing.
Saturday, Feb. 9: Carnaval Golf Cart Parade 5 p.m., Carnaval Gala at Kupuri Beach Club 6:30 p.m.
Dance the night away with masqueraded friends to an in-house DJ and a live band. Chef Pato Persico and his team will serve a traditional Carnival dinner with live cooking stations and an open bar.
Saturday, Feb. 10: Punta Mita Carnaval Beach Bash at Kupuri Beach Club 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Enjoy a day of non-stop excitement with surfing, snorkeling, stand up paddle, yoga, windsurf, kayaks, outrigger canoes and kite surfing. Chef Pato Persico and guest chefs will cook up a variety of beach fare from the wood-burning grill plus salads, a ceviche bar, chicken satays, BBQ ribs, steaks, snapper Zarandeado, hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks and more.
Sunday, Feb. 11: Carnaval Sunday Brunch 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Top off the weekend with friends and families while you enjoy exotic cocktails, live music, wines and drinks plus a wholesome spread by Chef Persico and team. The menu will include live cooking theaters with tapas-style appetizers, cevicheria, omelette station, antipasto, international selections and more.
