If you don’t know by now, Tulum has become a major foodie destination, with stellar regional cuisine and fresh ingredients. So it’s not surprising that this November Tulum will host its first food, spirits and wine festival. Along with Patron Tequila and Aeromexico, the four-day indoor-outdoor festival, taking place November 9-12 will feature local and national flavors from some of Mexico’s top chefs, restaurant and street food vendors. Additionally, some of the U.S.’s top chefs will be in attendance, showcasing their take on Mexican flavors.
To complement the world-renowned cuisine, the festival will have tequila tastings from some of Mexico’s best along with wine, mezcal, artisanal beers, cheeses, charcuterie and an array of spices along with live music, yoga, food tours and more.
To kick the weekend off, there will be a grand opening ceremony with street vendors and spirit tastings before rolling into the weekend that will be highlighted by various lunches and dinners from top chefs and mixologists scattered throughout the chic town. Guests will also have the opportunity to partake in street food tours discovering some of Tulum’s best hidden gems. VIP experiences will also be available with special access to upscale dinners and parties.
The festival aims to donate to a cause every year and this year, all proceeds from the festival will go to the victims of Mexico’s earthquake and help rebuild. Locals of Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Tulum will receive a 45-percent discount on tickets.
