Add a little spice to your life this month at the 2nd Annual Chili Pepper Culinary Experience, taking place October 23-27 at El Dorado Royale, A Spa Resort by Karisma in the Riviera Maya. In partnership with 2 Getaway Travel, this interactive culinary event features five days of feisty activities where guests will have the opportunity to gain expert knowledge, tips and tricks for cooking with chili peppers, learn about the growing process and enjoy spicy delights created by top chefs including Top Chef Master Rick Bayless and renowned Mexican talents Ricardo Muñoz Zurita, Josefina Santa Cruz, Solange Muris, Benito Molina and Jose Miguel Garcia.
The spicy week will include irresistible events like Baja tacos served at a Mayan Chili Market, a “Moles and Champagne” pairing, an elegant gala dinner at the resort’s Fuentes Culinary Theatre with live demonstrations and a visit to the property’s on-site 76,000-sq.-ft. greenhouse to learn about spice levels and harvesting from two of the greatest Mexican cuisine researchers in the world. In fact, the chilaca, serrano, habanero, jalapeño, ancho, guajillo and arbol peppers used throughout the experience are all produced on-site at El Dorado Royale’s Greenhouse.
