Spend your Thanksgiving at the luxury Grand Velas Riviera Maya with a touch of magic. This year, nine talented magicians from the US, Japan and Mexico will be showcasing their magical skills at the resort. Guests of the resort will be treated with performances from the highly awarded team in the “Magic Begins Here” Festival from November 27th through the 29th. The luxury resort will be the first hotel to be awarded the MERLIN, which is considered the “Oscars” of magic.
This event is perfect for the whole family and will be highlighting a few activities including a picnic in the garden for the children to have fun and interact with the talented magicians, a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings, a dinner show alternating on no fewer than three stages, and special events that will conclude “up close and personal” with the stars at the resorts’ three restaurants.
“We wanted to do something special this year to create special memories at Thanksgiving and what better than a magic extravaganza that all ages can enjoy,”
said Rodolfo González Munguía, Managing Director of Grand Velas Riviera Maya
The magical festival is named after Mexican artist Sergio Bustamante’s famed “Mago” (magician). He holds a sign stating the obvious, “Aqui empieza la magia” or The Magic Begins Here. The sculpture of this Mexican artist is on display at the Grand Velas resorts in Los Cabos and Riviera Nayarit, demonstrating the collections dedication to showcasing the finest of Mexican art.
All events are included for guests at no extra cost. Nightly rates start at $478. For more information, click here.
