This super relaxed but cute restaurant opens at 9:00 am and is able to create a perfect mixture between Mexican and vegan recipes. Located in the center of the city, they offer a variety of juices and smoothies to start the day the right way, also breakfast is served till 2:00 pm.
Liefs Vegan Van & Farm
A healthy and vegetarian option with European inspired dishes, the decor of the place is a vintage and natural ambience with a food truck concept and tables in the open air. Different options for bowls, sandwiches, mini pancakes, smoothies and more are waiting at Liefs.
Co.ConAmor
As their name says it they make everything with love, taking care of every detail and making sure everyone finds what their looking for. The restaurant is vegan, gluten free and has restorative beverages like kombucha, probiotics, and detox teas. For breakfast specifically, they offer cold press juices, smoothies, fresh and fruity dishes and classic and salty options. The space also has a store and space dedicated for special events.
La Hoja Verde
One of the earliest opening spots is La Hoja Verde, since 8:00 am they offer a variety of healthy food and drinks. The main concept is to promote consciously eating, with fresh ingredients and combining classic breakfast options like fruit bowl, pancakes or omelette with traditional Mexican plates like chilaquiles, enfrijoladas and quesadillas.
The Pitted Date Vegan Restaurant, Bakery & Cafe
This plant based concept started in Playa del Carmen in 2015, and they were si¿o sucessful they opened another place in Tulum. Their slogan describes their philosophy: “Saving the planet one meal at a time!”. Their baked goods are gluten free, all the products available for purchase are organic and vegan, and the chef’s signature dish is the vegan egg.
