Newly opened Chablé Maroma checks all the boxes for the ultimate wellness getaway. Located in the Riviera Maya, the boutique retreat is the second Chablé to open, after its sister property in the Yucatan which garnered attention for its top-notch spa and beautiful design.
Chablé Maroma features 70 energy-efficient suites, each that come with a private pool, outdoor living space and a terrace with a hammock. An earthy color palette complements the tropical woods, woven finishes and regional materials like xucun stone, marble and galarza quarried stone.
The spa honors the Mayan culture, utilizing traditional techniques and ingredients in its treatments. The spa is also inspired by trees, which serve as the symbol of life. Ceiba trees decorate the garden and its symbolism is found throughout many elements of the spa. The 180-minute Deep Forest Awakening treats the body to both inner and outer wellbeing while the Chablé Tree of Life Treatment is a total head-to-toe balancing experience.
The luxury doesn’t stop at the spa though. The hotel’s culinary program is led by Chef Jorge Vallejo, whose restaurant Quintonil in Mexico City is San Pellegrino’s 11th Best Restaurant in the World. Dining options include Kaban, an all-day restaurant designed to mimic a mangrove; Bu’ul, a contemporary Mexican outlet serving local eats and seasonal selections alongside one of the top wine cellars in the Mayan Riviera; and Raw Bar, a casual outlet serving clams, oysters and more with craft cocktails.
