A typical day in my life includes… breakfast, checking emails, I love working out I train for an 1 ½ hours each day, going on castings given to me by Wilhelmina, I try to talk to my mom at least once a day. I’m currently working on a screen play. I love watching films, reading.
I was born… in a small town called Newmarket in Ontario, Canada.
I’m listening to… Ellie Goulding – Only you. It’s my favorite song right now. I listen to it a couple times each day. I listen to music that inspires me and elevates my thoughts and feelings.
My family… consists of my 3 sisters and my mom. My mother is my whole world whom I admire and keeps me grounded. I guess you can say she is my sun and moon. My father passed away 12 years ago and my mom has done such an amazing job raising my 3 sisters and I. My 3 sisters (1 older 2 younger) each are uniquely different, competitive and adventurous. That’s the one thing I love about my sisters, they’re always traveling and trying new things which inspires me.
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… Probably Amy Adams, Naomi Watts, Steven Spielberg or Meryl Streep.
One thing I cannot live without… is my mom… she is my rock. My everything. Truly my best friend.
When I was younger, I wanted to be… a model like my mother and an actress. My mom was a model and I grew up seeing her photos. I wanted to be just like her.
I’m inspired by… life, people, travel and of course movies!! I love being part of new cultures, experiencing new countries and ideas… It’s amazing how many people live on this planet and how different others live. Im inspired by artists and their passion for story telling.
The one person who motivates me is… my mom and my close friends. I’m lucky to have such an amazing mother and friends who encourage me. My mom has never made me feel like there wasn’t anything I couldn’t achieve. During all the years of traveling, working in Europe, NYC and Los Angeles she has always supported me, being there through times of being discouraged to celebrating successes. My boyfriend Josh is also one of my biggest supporters. He’s a fashion photographer with so much knowledge of the industry.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be… violence. It breaks my heart that we “humans” hurt each other. I wish we could have world peace. No one would die through violence. World hunger would be my second. How do we not have enough food to feed everyone? Some over fed and others not fed at all. Poverty would be my third.
The perfect day would be… Having my mom next to me. She lives in Canada so I don’t get to see her as often as I would like. Also, having a healthy breakfast and waking up to warm weather. A day filled with lots of shopping , good food and friends. Seeing a movie and being inspired by the arts. Being with my loved ones. And getting a call that I booked something amazing.
My first job was… for a clothing store. I had almost no experience modeling. I remember watching the other models not sure what to do or how often to move.
My favorite escape… Running. I truly love running. It’s my freedom. I feel empowered when I run, like a wild horse.
My life… is in a very beautiful place; so much change has happened over the last year with so many enriching experiences. I feel grateful and excited for the future. My life currently isn’t where I see myself in 3 years but it’s in a place that offers me love, happiness, growth and success. I’m in a good place and on the right path.
Always… remember who your inner child is. Dream big, laugh hard and follow your passion.
Never… compare yourself to others. No two souls are alike and you should never devalue yourself or your journey.
