Iwashi
Created by chef Edo Kobayashi, the concept is “Tsukiji sushi” which takes its name from the fish market in Japan. The restaurant only has a bar with limited places (and a few tables outside), so you can enjoy the full experience of watching the chef make your dishes and deliver them freshly to you. Their specialty are the nigiris with different topping options like truffle, make sure to write down your name while you stroll to Polanco since there are no reservations. Iwashi also opened recently a bar in the Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de Mexico, so if you are traveling through terminal 2 make sure to pay them a visit.

Located in one of the most popular streets in la Roma neighborhood, this hand roll bar has a DJ that mixes up the beats at night, and creates the perfect fun ambiance for a cocktail or a sake. They recently presented their vegan menú, with the same delicious distinctive taste but creating various options for vegetarians like zucchini sashimi with truffle, flamed asparagus handrail, Shimeji and Enoki mushrooms handroll with butter, avocado nigiri and much more options.

A contemporary sushi bar, specialized in nigiris, fish and truffle. The seafood comes from many parts of the world like Japan, Island, Scotland, Alaska and the Mexican Golf and Pacific Sea, to ensure the best quality in every dish. The interior design is a mixture between Japanese traditions and modern architecture. Apart from their CDMX location they also are present in Monterrey and Puebla.
