Construction has recently been completed on new villa residences in Maravilla Los Cabos, a private residential community inside the master-planned community Twin Dolphin. Named Las Colinas, the completed villas feature stunning seven-foot wide doors welcoming you home along with ocean views overlooking Maravilla’s 18-hole putting course. Spacious living areas with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors in the living room open up to an outdoor space complete with a wraparound terrace. The first two of four buildings—each with six three- and four-bedroom residences—has been completed.

A standout of the completed homes is Las Colinas 1F, a 7,751-square-foot penthouse villa complete with three bedrooms and four-and-one-half bathrooms, offered at $4.85 million. Highlights include a gourmet kitchen with SubZero and Wolf appliances, Caesarstone countertops and stained wood cabinetry; a master suite with a private terrace, an en-suite bath with stone counters and flooring throughout and a master walk-in closet; and two additional bedrooms, one with a private terrace and direct access to the main terrace and each with en-suite baths. A spiral staircase off the main terrace provides access to a private rooftop with an infinity-edged plunge pool, a fire pit, an outdoor kitchen and a built-in barbecue.
Las Colinas 1F as well as a handful of other homes in the first two buildings were furnished by Mexico City-based design firm Uribe Krayer who selected pieces from many Mexican contemporary artists. In 1F, a bar cabinet and various side tables are by AD HOC, named one of “Six Rising Talents” by the Maison&Objets Americas trade fair last year. The home also features additional pieces from select designers and brands across Mexico.
“In the Uribe Krayer-designed Las Colinas villas, we selected many crafts and finishes created by local artisans to highlight contemporary, emerging Mexican designers,” said Corwin. “These are not homes you would see just anywhere. They are very much contextual to Mexico and what is happening in Mexican art and design today, and we are proud to be able to incorporate so many talented artists into home design at Maravilla.”
