1. Kyoto, Japan

Arashiyama's Bamboo Forest was beyond enchanting ? Waking up early to beat the crowds here was SO worth it. Instead of facing a battlefield of selfie-sticks, we got to have the most peaceful morning stroll along the bamboo-lined pathway. ?? Also, shoutout to my lovely travel buddy @mirandadams (you might recognize her as the weirdo on my snapchat). The past two weeks of singing karaoke, eating sea urchin, hitchhiking across the countryside, stumbling upon Japanese rock concerts and taming deer have been a true delight. So thankful for travel-obsessed friends! ??
