Grand Solmar at Rancho San Lucas Resort has recently debuted, marking the first phase of the Rancho San Lucas Resort community, a 834-acre private resort community on the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula.
The new resort features 89 ocean-front suites spread among two buildings. All suites include views of the Pacific Ocean and interiors inspired by Los Cabos’ desert-sea landscape. Warm furnishings, wooden cabinetry, bold Mexican colors and marine elements are just some of the decor guests can expect to find in the resort’s accommodations which are offered in three different options, the Grand Studio, One-Bedroom Master Suite and the Two-Bedroom Presidential Suite. Designed by Dallas-based architecture firm HKS, the property’s design also features barrel-tile roofs, archways, ironwork and various water features like a lazy river and a saltwater lagoon.
Resort amenities around the hotel abound with a private beach area with lounges and cabanas, two adult-only infinity-edge pools and one kids pool with a mini waterpark, a fitness center with Life Fitness equipment, a full-service beauty salon and more. For ultimate relaxation, guests can unwind at the Holistic Cabos Spa, a beachside multi-level spa with a menu full of healing massages and body therapies using organic local ingredients and essential oils.
The cuisine at Grand Solmar at Rancho San Lucas features four dining outlets including the signature La Roca restauran, which offers a menu of international options with authentic Mexican flavors. A casual outdoor bar and grill, a deli cafe and a poolside cocktail bar round out the options.

Upon completion, Grand Solmar at Rancho San Lucas Resort will have 594 suites, 105 of which will be a part of the Grand Solmar The Residences at Rancho San Lucas.
