Jazz your moonlit evening up at Cabo Surf Hotel for a night of decadent dinner and bluesy tunes. On March 23, at 7 p.m. Cabo Surf Hotel will host Groove Mashin, a band that features some of the best jazz musicians in Cabo, for its Full Moon Jazz Dinner Concert. The band features New York saxophonist Howie Clifton, Argentinean bass player Sebastian Dimarco, Mexican drummer Sergio Hesting and Cabo’s own guitar player Hector Ojeda. Groove Mashin will be pumping out jazz standards along with original music under a glowing full moon all night long.
The dinner and jazz combo will take place at 7 Seas Seafood Grille, where diners can enjoy some of the freshest seafood in the Baja. Chef Alejandro Rodriguez and his team continuously whip up a variety of seafood to choose from like oysters and blue crab, to calamari and tuna or opt for a meaty dinner with selections like beef tenderloin, pork ribs and grilled chicken. Mexican heritage and health-conscious methods of cooking all lend their hand to the dishes served.
