The opulent mansion offers guests everything they would find at the resort—and more—but with an elevated level of privacy. In fact, the entrance even mimics the resort’s, complete with its own private entrance that leads to a magical courtyard encompassed by one of the largest 360-degree gardens in the world. After passing through the lush, emerald entrance, guests are welcomed into a great white room overlooking the sea with floor-to-ceiling windows and an indoor/outdoor living room. Aside from breathtaking ocean views, a reflecting pool surrounded by 7.5 million hand-laid white marble tiles catches the eye as it sparkles and reflects natural sunlight that streams through a retractable glass sun roof.
The interiors, which were overseen by designer Robert Couturier, are a refreshing white with pops of bold, colorful accents that blend in the rich culture and vivid beauty of authentic Mexican artistry. Striking colors and exotic patterns adorn hand-woven textiles, Indian-silk-upholstered sofas, hand-blown glass fixtures, hand-made organic bath accessories, hand-carved painted alberije sculptures, hand-embossed metallic furniture and a variety of original art including the colorful, wooden dragon sculpture by Claudio Ojeda Morales that greets you in the living room. Other featured artists include Cecilio Hernandez of Guanajuato, Sergio Santiago and Lucila Sosa San Antonio of Oaxaca and Guadalupe Hermosillo Escobar of Chiapas.
