Head to The Resort at Pedregal this February for a weekend of Mexican flavors and delicious dishes. Fiesta of Flavors, a Mexican culinary experience is happening Feb. 16-18 at the cliffside resort and is hosting guest chefs and bartenders for a variety of mouthwatering experiences. Executive Chef Gustavo Pinet will be joined by guest chef Amaya Hernandes from Mi Tierra Linda in Oaxaca and Jose Antonio Salinas from Balcon del Zocalo in Mexico City. Behind the bar Head Bartender David Hernandez will team up with Kevin Diedrich from Pacific Cocktail Heaven in San Francisco and Antonio Hernandez of Espiritu Lauro, along with Kimberli Rogers from Silverado Vineyards.
Friday, February 16 – Silvermoon Gallery’s Folk Art Pop Up Trunk Show
Almarte Boutique is hosting the Silvermoon Folk Gallery by Mexican artist Armando Sanchez and will also be offering canapes and Champagne. At night, head to the lobby for a cocktail party that will include chef surprises inspired by Mexican folklore. 6 to 8 p.m. Free. Live entertainment.
Feb. 16, 17 & 18 – Fiesta of Flavors Don Manuel’s Weekend Takover
Join the chefs as they each prepare unique dishes with Mexican flare. Don Manuel’s will also have a special menu for the weekend, designed by the chefs, and the bartenders will be pouring up traditional Mexican inspired cocktails. 6 to 11 p.m. Live entertainment
Feb. 17 – Special Breakfast at El Farallon
Wake up and start your day with the flavors of Oaxaca and Mexico City at a special breakfast including Mexican juices, antojitos and traditional Mexican dishes like handmade quesadillas and more. 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. $40
Feb. 18 – El Farallon Pop-Up
In addition to El Farallon’s diverse selection of fresh-caught seafood, the restaurant will be offering Mexican Flavors seafood specials and Champagne pairings on the Champagne terrace. 5 to 11 p.m. Live entertainment.
