Valentine’s Dinner: Flora’s Field Kitchen will be featuring its fried chicken menu along with live music and ladies will get to take home a blown glass heart. Alba, the poet writer will also be on site, ready to craft beautiful poems on her 1955 Olympia Deluxe Typewriter. Reservations: reservations@flora-farms.com
Drink of the Month: The Farmtini is the drink of the month and is made with wild hibiscus (bitter bottlers available at the farm’s grocery), infused with 2 oz. of ice cold Grey Goose vodka, shaken. Add in fresh herbs for the perfect “farm touch.”
Baja Safe Charity Event: On Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. the farm is hosting a fun charity event at the Mango Grove in benefit of Baja SAFE, the San Jose del Cabo Humane Society. Dinner will be at 6 p.m. along with Cuban music and Latin Jazz at 7 p.m. and a silent auction. Limited seating. $120. Reservations: et.safe@hotmail.com
Cooking Class: Tuesdays will offer guests a roasted vegetable taco class where you will learn to make tortialls the old fashioned way (nixtamal) and work with herb sauces to create a tasty lunch. Painting Class: Prestigious artist and owner of O Gallery, Francois Paris is hosting the Plein Air Painting Class at the Mango Grove. The class includes all materials needed plus lunch and wine. $100 per person. Reservations: sonja@flora-farms.com
