Los Cabos

Romeo & Julieta
Cabo San Lucas
Founded by the pioneering Bulnes family as one of the first Italian restaurants in the Baja, Romeo & Julieta is a longstanding local favorite serving up traditional eats like homemade pastas, pizzas and more; try the fan favorite, lasagna bolognese. An extensive wine list includes the Julieta and Romeo, a chardonnay-sauvignon blanc and cabernet sauvignon respectively, both from the Guadalupe Valley.

Agua by Larbi at One&Only Palmilla
San Jose del Cabo
Serving authentic Mexican dishes with Mediterranean influences, Agua by Larbi’s interactive dining includes hand-made tortillas, authentic moles and signature guacamole and ceviche made tableside plus a tequila and mezcal trolley filled with an array of Mexican spirits. For a secluded dinner, snag one of the restaurant’s “pods,” tile-topped oval tables that are perched on the cliff’s edge and surrounded by stone and cushioned banquettes. The cozy tables look out over the Sea of Cortez, making it the ideal spot for a romantic evening.

Manta at The Cape, a Thompson Hotel
Cabo San Lucas
Dine in a trendy atmosphere at Manta with hand-selected custom plateware from Guadalajara and expansive, floor-to- ceiling views of Downtown Cabo San Lucas and El Arco. Inspired by the northern Japanese izakaya tradition, New York-trained Chef Enrique Olvera combines traditional Mexican cuisine with Pan-Pacific influences. Spanish for the word “blanket,” Olvera chose the name Manta to emphasize his take on comfort seafood.

El Farallon at The Resort at Pedregal
Cabo San Lucas
Meaning “a rock that comes out of the ocean,” El Farallon features cliffside seating above rocky waters and looks out over the Pacific Ocean. The menu features a selection of ocean-to-table options including local, fresh fish specialties. For a pre-dinner experience, visit the restaurant’s Champagne Terrace where guests are guided through a bubbly lesson in the sparkling beverage.

Sunset Monalisa
Cabo San Lucas
Sunset Monalisa is the delicious monument of the love between Florence’s Giorgio Battaglia and Cristina Bremer Rodriguez, niece of former Mexican president Abelardo Rodriguez. Diners can savor Novel Mediterranean cuisine in a passionate atmosphere made up by live music, an ultra-romantic setting and iconic Cabo views. Munch on the house favorite Pizza Burrata at the restaurant’s Sunset Point, Wine and Pizza Lounge or sip French wine at the Parisian-style, Taittinger Terrace, Oyster & Champagne Bar, the first of its kind in the Baja.

Playa del Carmen

Ixchel at Banyan Tree Mayakoba
Playa del Carmen
Ixchel—translated as moon goddess—lets guests journey down Mayakoba’s canal and mangroves in a private trajinera boat that serves as the dinner table for a magical evening. Feast your eyes on the lush surroundings while dining on local and international, made-to-order cuisine prepared by the culinary host. Ixchel is available for breakfast and dinner.

Puerto Vallarta & Punta de Mita

Mesa1 at W Punta de Mita
Punta de Mita
Mesa1 is a secluded dining spot located in the middle of a spring-fed lake and accessed by stepping-stones that emerge and then disappear after you’ve been seated. Hungry patrons can indulge in a seven-course customizable tasting menu by one of the resort’s private chefs on a table repurposed from a Parota tree trunk. Plan ahead; Mesa1 accommodates only one reservation daily for up to 18 people.

The Rock at Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita
Punta Mita
A small, secluded oceanside cliff serves as the magical setting for this dinner that includes a chef-prepared menu of your choice from three different options with fancy treats like chef-selected caviar and bottles of Dom Perignon. Listen to the waves and watch the sunset in one of the best locations in Punta Mita.
