This spring, One&Only Palmilla invites you to experience the Easter Season in true Mexican style with events and activities for the whole family. Enjoy an array of special holiday offerings, from festive celebrations exploring local Mexican customs and flavors, to unrivaled culinary creations by acclaimed chefs and master mixologists. And for the kids, just as much fun will be had with sand castle contests, pirate adventures, magic shows, and more.
Good Friday
On Friday, April 19, browse the Easter Art Market from 6 to 9 p.m. for locally crafted paintings, sculptures and other artistic finds. Then top off the night during the Quartet of Taste at Breeze, a gastronomic experience from 6 to 10 p.m. featuring four of Mexico’s most renowned chefs. Sample and savor the unique flavors and recipes from each chef while enjoying live Mariachi music, a Mexican Folklore performance and more.
Easter Sunday
Join the resort for a special Easter Sunday Mass at the historic Chapel from 9 to 10 a.m. followed by a decadent Easter Brunch at Agua by Larbi from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The feast includes a mix of traditional regional specialties and holiday classics plus a dessert buffet. Mixologists will host a special pop-up bar with a variety of Easter specialties like Bloody Mary cocktails and champagne. There will also be live music and kid-friendly circus-themed fun on the Lawn with a magic show, Easter Bunny visit, face painting and more.
Youngsters of all ages can join in on an Easter egg hunt that will kick off at 10:45 a.m. with face painting at the KidsOnly Club. Guided signs will help kids on their hunt for eggs around the property. Afterwards, the South Lawn will host activities for the whole family including a petting zoo, family photo opps and a chance to meet the Easter Bunny.
When night falls, a special chef dinner and cooking demonstration will take place at the Herb Garden from 7 to 10 p.m. A trio of expert chefs will create an intimate, can’t-miss fine dining experience. Limited seating available.
Kids
Leading up to Easter, One&Only Palmilla will host a variety of activities for younger guests including egg painting at the KidsOnly Club all week. Families can try their hand at creating sandcastles during Beauty & The Beach on April 17 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. And from April 17-21, floating beds will serve as private pirate ships during Treasure’s Afloat, a pirate-themed scavenger hunt. On Good Friday, kids can enjoy a glow-in-the-dark Easter party or kick back at a special seaside movie night event, complete with treats.
Food & Drink
For adults, additional culinary events will be offered including special Easter dessert creations at SEARED during Easter Weekend and a chance to indulge in a five-course private dining experience created by Chef Stuart Roger. On April 17, enjoy live music and a unique craft cocktail menu at Agua Bar. Smoke & Savor on April 18 will feature three different Havana Club rums paired with a Cuban cigar. And on April 20, guests can learn how to incorporate Mexican flavors into their dishes during a hands-on culinary cooking class, followed by lunch.
