The daytime may dominate your trip to Cabo with sunny skies, blue waters and sandy beaches, but the newly opened Grand Velas Los Cabos resort is launching a twinkling nighttime experience.
Considered by NASA as one of the top 20 places to research the night sky, it goes without saying that the resort’s new Night Sky experience is one worth checking out. The new series features complimentary evenings of astronomy lessons, star gazing and planet viewing. Held oceanfront overlooking the Sea of Cortez, the three-hour tour includes a bonfire and signature cocktails. The event is hosted by certified NAI (National Association for Interpretation) Interpreters and astronomy experts who will guide guests with the use of a 12-in. telescope, the largest in Los Cabos. The experience will give guests a chance to see everything from stars and planets to constellations and even meteor showers, the latter of which are quite frequent in the Cabo area.
Rates at the newly opened all-inclusive resort start at $750 per person, per night in doubly occupancy.
