This year marks the 10th anniversary of the tasty international food and wine festival, Sabor a Cabo, which has established itself as a prominent international event and has helped put Los Cabos on the culinary map! This year, top chefs and top wine selections will be brought together once again, making it one of the most indulgent festivals of the year. According to Alfonso Vazquez Olivas, the president of Sabor a Cabo, this year’s festival will have the theme of “Simmering…a tribute to Mexican roots.” We’re hungry already.
While the event takes place December 2 through December 5, the main event will take place on the final day in Campestre Golf Course in San José del Cabo and will feature the tastes of nearly 40 restaurants. Some of the restaurants include Baja Cantina, Edith’s, Los Tamarindos, Mi Casa, Chamuyo, Nicksan, Tenangos, Romeo & Julieta and many more.
“With so many great culinary offerings in Los Cabos we are pleased to support the 10th edition of this wonderful event”, said Los Cabos Tourism Board Managing Director Ruben Reachi. “Sabor a Cabo is one of many annual events that tourists and locals alike look forward to year after year.”
Complementing the wide selection of wine and food, singer-songwriter, Lila Downs will be performing live. As in years past, the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Los Cabos Fire Department and Children’s Foundation. The cost of pre-sale tickets will begin at $130-$140 and the VIP area will be $200 per person.
