ACRE Hotel was recently awarded “Sexiest Hotel Design” by LE Miami, an invite-only trade show showcasing more than 200 top boutique hotels in the world.
“Sexy design doesn’t always stem from big budget design teams,” said Cameron Watt, Co-Owner. “In fact, it seems our lack of experience and our hands-on approach was the winning advantage,” said Watt. “It allowed us to develop the property piece by piece, in an organic manner that grew into what ACRE is now, a very sexy place to stay, eat, and throw parties,” continued Watt.
Founder, Stuart Watt and Cameron McPherson worked with a limited budget which forced them to get creative will all elements of the design by using local materials, furniture and lighting. The result is a chic, casual and oh-so Mexican property.
The 12 tree houses will be ready this winter for occupancy at the property that will also feature a swimming pool, organic farms, a top-rated restaurant, miniature dwarf goats and many other things to explore.
The property already features a restaurant, cocktail bar, pool, event space and surrounding farms.
