Test your skills and savor the views at these 10 memorably stunning golf holes around Los Cabos.
Cabo Del Sol Desert Course 18th Hole – Par 4, 427 yards
This downhill closing hole belies the course name with a magnificent view of the Sea of Cortez. Approach shots must avoid a creek in front of the green and a lake to the right of it.
Cabo Del Sol Ocean Course 17th Hole – Par 3, 178 yards
From the very back tee your tee shot here has to carry the beach and a number of bunkers. Factor in some wind and coming away with a par is an accomplishment.
El Dorado Golf & Beach Club 9th Hole – Par 5, 558 yards
The downhill fairway shortens this par 5 slightly but beware the bunkers found down the left side of the hole.
Diamante Dunes Course 17h Hole – Par 5, 588 yards
Playing downwind can provide a welcome dose of extra distance on the longest hole found on the Dunes Course. A heavily sloped green though does not guarantee a birdie.
Diamante El Cardonal (Tiger Woods) 16th Hole – Par 3, 154 yards
The last par 3 on the course requires a nerve-wracking carry over a deep ravine. A hole location on the more narrow front part of the green is even more dangerous than a longer carry to the back portion, where you have more breathing room on the three-tiered green.
Palmilla Golf Club – Arroyo Course 7th Hole – Par 5, 566 yards
A 10-story drop from the tee to the fairway sets the tone on this hole. A deep canyon that beckons down the left side must be avoided at all costs. The capper is an infinity-edge green that looks great but is not easy.
Querencia 4th Hole – Par 5, 552 yards
A fairway bunker is your target on both your tee shot and second shot on this dramatic par 5. An accurate wedge shot is required to a green that slopes predominantly from right to left.
Puerto Los Cabos (The Marina Course) 18th Hole – Par 4, 441 yards
This testing finishing hole features a large lake on the left side that often swallows tee shots due to a downhill fairway. Even if you do stay dry, make sure you know the exact hole location since the green has numerous tiers.
Puerto Los Cabos (The Mission Course) 7th Hole – Par 5, 623 yards
A good score on the second longest hole on the course means avoiding both a large fairway bunker on the left and multiple bunkers around the green.
Quivira 6th Hole – Par 3, 180 yards
If you manage to avoid the distracting views to your left—in the form of the Pacific Ocean and waves crashing against the rocky shoreline far below—focus on finding this deep but narrow green. Wind, sometimes up to 35 miles per hour, makes it a great challenge.
