Cruise & Maritime Voyages has recently launched Treasures of the Sea of Cortez cruise that explores the Baja California Peninsula and Mexico’s mainland coast.
Hop aboard the boutique-style Astoria featuring a traditional walk-around promenade deck and elevated level of service. The well-appointed ship offers comfortable facilities and cabin accommodations, able to carry just 500 guests for an intimate experience.
Guests will be able to explore off-the-beaten path destinations as well as popular locales. An option to add on pre- or post-cruise hotel packages are also available to tailor the experience to guests’ preferences. On-board entertainment, food and more is also included.
The 11-night voyage is offered over six different dates between Dec. 7, 2019 and Jan. 31, 2020 and visits eight different ports. The adventure kicks off in Puerto Peñasco (Rocky Point) on the Mexican coast and visits Topolobampo, Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas, La Paz, Bahia Loreto, Santa Rosalia and Guaymas.
Highlights at the ports include the Tequila Factory in Puerto Peñasco, the 450-year old town of El Fuerte and beautiful beaches in Topolobampo, endless adventures in Cabo, colonial history and Mexican heritage in Loreto, whale watching in Santa Rosalia and more.
