In one of the most populated cities in the world, the need to build with the objective to unite rather than separate is vital. Mexico City is huge, in every sense; it is made up with all kinds of surprises in all corners. The history, culture, people and diversity of activities and spaces makes it one of the richest and most visited cities on the planet. The number of museums, buildings, cars, shops and people has grown exponentially in the last few years. It is for this reason that it is necessary to design with a very clear objective and to preserve the different urban areas of the city, like the streets, parks and neighborhoods.
For this reason, Terminal 1 is a space that is built as a bridge to unite and generate the community. Terminal 1 is located in Colonia Roma, one of the most active and beautiful neighborhoods of the city. It is focused on generating a sense of belonging and integrating different industrial creatives and independent professionals that comprise it. Terminal 1 was created by brothers Alonso and Luis de Garay along with Jonathan Graham, with the goal of building an interdisciplinary network of individual and collective talent, creating a way to become inspired and supported by each other, creating a much richer object in any product. In addition, the space invites you to want to get in touch with your work and mind, joining the interior space with the wonderful patio that is the heart of Terminal 1. We hope that the cities support and aim to have many more projects like this.
