With over 15 years of experience in architecture and residential construction in both Latin America and the United States, CDM Architects is known for creating livable experiences where the customer can identify with the space and their quality of life is enhanced. The SJA I House is one of our favorite projects in their portfolio, and it is located at the center of the Mexican Pacific Bay, 20 meters above the sea level. While developing the architectural project, there were three main premises: keep the visual and spatial relationship between the hill and the sea; develop the ideas respecting the important natural elements and create gardens between them; raise the main program in a single platform. The center of this beautiful house is a palapa located in the heart of the land, and to the west you can find the elongated pool that coexists with the surrounding vegetation. Other spaces of the house are the master bedroom, bar, grill, wood oven, kitchen and the living room that respects the visual continuity to the hill. The house also has four independent guest rooms that are embedded in the hill, as well as a beach club and service areas.
