Not everything in Mexico is great builded spaces, beauty also takes shape in nature all over this beautiful country. Mexico is famous for its beautiful  turquoise color beaches in the Caribbean with white sand, the perfect waves of Pacific but also is a country formed by mountainous systems that give spectacular landscapes. One of the sites that should not be missed is the Copper Canyon at the Sierra Tarahumara in the northwest part of the state of Chihuahua in Mexico. This site is unique in the world and should not be felt, photographed and witnessed by all nature lovers around the world. It is a mountain formed space four times bigger in extension and has a depth of twice as large as the Grand Canyon of Colorado, Arizona it is 60 thousand square kilometers. This space is inhabited by the indigenous Rarámuris or Tarahumara.

The Copper Canyon is visited and transited through a train route calles “Chihuahua al Pacifico” but it is best known as “The Chepe“. In the area of Los Mochis the train goes through the mountain to cross inside a part of the Sierra, the trip is not suitable for acrophobics since it passes next to spooky cliffs, it crosses 86 short and long tunnels and floats over 37 bridge over wide rivers. It is a tourist attraction to share with friends and family, an unforgettable trip that will make the mountains live in your memory forever.There is the option of a flight over the Canyon in helicopter to end the experience with a unique panoramic view.

Some activities offered by the trip to the Sierra Tarahumara are: visit the waterfall Basaseachi and Stone Volada, visit the communities and missions of the tarahumaras, hiking and camps, horseback riding, bird watching and fishing, climbing, mountain biking, rafting and cable car ride.Do not hesitate  taking into account the option of staying at the spectacular Hotel Mirador
