Archetonic is a Mexican architectural firm that focuses on improving the environment through its projects. They can develop any size proposals, giving the same importance to a chair as they do to an entire building, from the first sketch line to the project’s construction and completion.
One of our favorite projects of their extensive portfolio is PH Diamante, a contemporary apartment located in Mexico City. Their intention in the intervention was to give amplitude through spaces with no walls and lots of light. They also searched to highlight the low horizontal line of the furniture to achieve a more comforting sensation. Timber and stone were selected as the main materials because of the perfect balance between cold and warm that they accomplish. For the terrace, they set a wooden deck and added exterior furniture to enjoy the 360-degree panorama views. The undoubted protagonist is the Jorge Yazpik sculpture at the receiving lobby; the piece was specially illuminated to exalt its beauty. The original lamps all over the Bosques de las Lomas apartment are creative and functional; the most important values in design. Simple and elegant lines as well as the decorative elements are responsible for the sophisticated aesthetic of this place.
