Liven up your champagne flute with these creative and tasty recipes that will please any of your party guests this season—there’s even one with tequila!
Pear Vodka Infused Champagne Cocktail
- Absolut pear vodka
- Champagne
- cranberries
Directions: Pour 1 or 2 shots of pear vodka in a glass and fill up with champagne. Garnish with a spoon full of fresh cranberries.
Limoncello Raspberry Prosecco Cooler
- 1 bottle Prosecco or other sparkling wine, chilled
- 4 oz. limoncello liqueur, chilled
- 1 pint fresh raspberries
- About 8 sprigs fresh mint
Directions: Add limoncello (1 oz. each) to chilled glass, and top off with Prosecco. Add raspberries and mint leaves.
- 3 sachets white tea
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1 tbsp pomegranate seeds
- 2 tsp pomegranate juice (optional)
- sparkling wine
Directions: Immerse all 3 tea sachets in hot water. Let steep for 5 minutes then remove and discard tea sachets. Chill tea until very cold. Add two tablespoons tea to the bottom of two champagne flutes. If using, add 1 teaspoon pomegranate juice to each flute. Top with sparkling wine and pomegranate seeds.
- 1 1/2 cups fresh lime juice
- 1 cup agave silver tequila
- 1 cup Triple Sec or Cointreau
- 1 bottle Champagne (about 3 cups)
- lime wedges and coarse salt or sugar to rim the glasses
Directions: Stir the lime juice, tequila and Triple Sec together to make your margarita base. Prepare your glasses by running a lime wedge around the rim of the serving glasses, and then dipping the glasses in coarse salt or sugar. Pour about 1/3 cup of margarita mixture into a champagne glass, and fill the rest of the glass up with champagne. Or if using a different glass, you need a ratio of about 1/3 cup margarita mixture to 1/2 cup champagne.
- 3 oz. gin
- 3 oz. fresh lemon juice
- 4 tsp superfine granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups ice cubes
- 1 cup chilled Champagne
- lemon twists for garnish
Directions: In a cocktail shaker, combine gin, lemon juice, sugar and ice cubes and shake to chill. Strain cocktails into 2 champagne flutes and top off with champagne. Garnish glass with a lemon twist.
