Fashion obsessed travelers will rejoice over One&Only Resort’s newest collaboration with Hong Kong based fashion designer, Marie France Van Damme. The Canadian designer is well-known for her luxury resort, swim and ready-to-wear line that is influenced by global travels and personal style. She first introduced her luxury resort wear collection in the summer of 2011 and it gained major popularity for its versatile pieces. Loved among many celebrities like Beyoncé and Catherine Zeta Jones, the resort wear collections can be found in big-name department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman and Harrods.
Now, the designer is teaming up with One&Only Resorts to create a “City to Resort” collection exclusive to the resorts. The collection includes ten pieces, all in black and white in a variety of versatile pieces. It will also include an exclusive print in fabrics like silk chiffon and silk satin. The pieces are designed to transition from day-to-night, city-to-resort and vacation-to-home without sacrificing style or quality. “It was important to make the collection versatile, and we decided that classic, but chic black and white would be best, as guests don’t always want to be in bright colours. They can easily mix-and-match and have a number of options to wear from day-to-night, and the clothes will work perfectly for both on-resort and off,” said Preston Schroeder, Director or Retail, One&Only Resorts. - Short silk chiffon embroidered tunic in exclusive print
- Long silk chiffon and embroidered cover up in exclusive print

- Printed silk satin pants
- Black jersey sequins column dress
- Silver metallic canvas travel bag
Launched in November, the collection is available to purchase in NEO Boutiques or online at mariefrancevandamme.com. In addition to Los Cabos’ One&Only Palmilla, the collection will also be available at the NEO boutiques in One&Only Reethi Rah in the Maldives, One&Only Cape Town in South Africa, One&Only Le Saint Géran in Mauritius and One&Only Ocean Club in The Bahamas.
