EsperanzARTE returns Feb. 15 from 7 to 11 p.m. for its 5th annual event, celebrating the best in art, cuisine and spirits, plus live music from Kilómetro Band and DJ Guillermo Jauregui.
Taking place at Esperanza, Auberge Resorts Collection, guests can look forward to a creative evening in paradise. Chefs from around Los Cabos will team up with a hand-selected collection of Mexican artists for a fully immersive experience for the senses.
This year’s theme is The Agave, which will be infused in all aspects of the event. Each participating artist will showcase a piece of their work that interprets the year’s theme, plus participate in a live art show. A silent auction will benefit Casa Hogar AC.
Joining Esperanza’s Executive Chef Guillermo Gómez, who will be hosting the gastronomy, will be local chefs Alex Branch (Acre), Andrés Bracamonte (Bar Esquina), César Pita (Cielo Mar), Paolo della Corte (NOBU Los Cabos) and Javier Galindo (La Lupita Taco & Mezcal).
Esperanza’s mixologist team will pair up with AGAVE Mexican Spirits Boutique, Osvaldo Vázquez (COMAL Bar), Baja Wines, Código 1530 Tequila, Espiritu Lauro Mezcal and Mixology Fusion Bar.
Keeping in theme with the agave, the night will also honor el jimador, a type of Mexican farmer who harvests agave plants. A jimador will be working live during the event, showcasing the process of harvesting the plant used to make spirits like mezcal and tequila.
