One&Only Palmilla is hosting a delicious weekend with Michelin-Starred Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten to kick off the holiday season in proper form — with lots of food!
The culinary weekend kicks off Nov. 30 with a hands-on cooking class at Los Tamarindos Organic Farm led by Master Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten while he shows off the fresh bounty of seafood from the Sea of Cortez. The class is then followed by an inspired lunch.
On Dec. 1 a five-course wine pairing dinner at SEARED will be whipped up by Chef Jean-Georges and is sure to be mouthwatering. After feasting on the decadent dinner, guests can truly embrace the holiday season as the resort illuminates the Baja night during the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. The festive event marks the start of a month-long celebration of culinary-inspired events. Guests will have the chance to experience the bold flavors and handcrafted treats of authentic cuisine all throughout December.
SEARED Five-Course Dinner Menu with Wine Pairing
Canapes: Olive poached shrimp toast with black truffle, bacon-wrapped maitake mushroom with rosemary lemon aoli, beef satay with basil-lime emulsion, corn and jalapeño fritters with a chipotle dip
Dinner: Warm potatoes and herbal tapioca with caviar and minced chives; yellowtail tartar, green apple, celeriac and yuzu mustard sauce; roasted cabrilla and caramelized green cabbage, red curry and cumin oil; mesquite grilled wagyu beef with sesame spinach and coriander green chili pesto; green apple confit, vanilla cake and crème fraiche
