We dream of one day having our very own wine but until then, we’re booking a trip to Hotel El Ganzo, who just debuted its very own signature red wine blend, poured exclusively at the hotel.
Made in Valle de Guadalupe (a.k.a. the Napa of Baja), the new vino is produced by Emeve winery of Baja California’s famed wine region, Ensenada. The ruby red blend includes Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Shiraz with flavors like cherry, cranberry and plum notes, all offset with touches of red pepper, vanilla, soft velvet tannins and a smoky aroma. Fill our glass right up please!
The medium- to full-bodied wine has an alcohol level of 13.5-percent-per volume and is aged for six months in French oak barrels before reaching El Ganzo, where it pairs great with beef, lamb, chicken and pork.
The hotel’s new wine is just another way it’s committed to local sustainability by supporting and promoting local producers. The blend also complements El Ganzo’s dining options which feature organic herbs and vegetables grown in the hotel’s garden.
“Hotel El Ganzo is all about curated experiences, from the music that plays throughout the hotel, to the sights and the flavor of our signature wine,” said General Manager Ella Messerli. “Everything in the hotel has been carefully crafted to engage our guests’ senses and create long-lasting memories.”
Guests can bring the vino home in their checked luggage with prices starting at $50 per bottle.
