Thirteen years ago, Mishka and Antonio traveled to Mexico to celebrate their wedding day. Since then, the happy couple has made it their mission and calling to relive the magic of their special day by creating and designing magical destination weddings through their company, Mishka Designs. Known for their unique elements and handcrafted details, Mishka and Antonio are committed to the practice of “Free Trade”, ensuring that the many artisans behind Mishka Designs’ weddings are paid fairly for their craftsmanship and heart-felt work. Contributing to the handcrafted details of Mishka Designs’ charming and colorful wedding setups are her husband Antonio and Yazmin from Maracas Maracas, who create beautiful hand-painted maracas that can be personalized for your special day.
Mishka is widely praised for pouring her heart into her work and for going above and beyond her clients’ expectations. One of her main goals is to Wow her clients (and their guests), so it’s no surprise that Mishka will often surprise couples with something special and unexpected on their special day.
The following photos are from Aussie couple Lacey & Todd’s wedding, which took place at Mamitas Beach Club in Playa del Carmen. For this bride, the infinity symbol was very important, so Mishka had Yazmin create custom-designed wooden bracelets with the infinity symbol and the couple’s initials. These were then tied around the couple’s napkins (last photo).
