Craving a margarita? We always are! So, to satisfy our craving we’re turning to one of our favorite Cabo stays, Esperanza, an Auberge Resort. Their Margarita Verde that’s served at The Lounge Bar is a fresh and tantalizing concoction to properly celebrate Tequila Tuesday—or really any day of the week. Check out the recipe below.
Margarita Verde
- 2 oz. silver tequila (100% blue agave)
- 1 oz. pineapple juice
- 4 slices of cucumber
- 1.5 slices of cucumber for decoration
- 7 leaves fresh cilantro
- .5 oz. freshly squeezed lime
- .5 oz. agave honey or simple syrup ice
- 1 tsp. powder pepper (Tajin, seasoned chili pepper, lime and salt powder) (optional)
Directions: Put the 4 slices of cucumber, leaves of cilantro and tequila in a shaker. Mash with a pestle and strain. Add the rest of the ingredients to the shaker (except the Tajin powder) and fill the shaker with ice. Shake for 10 seconds. Serve in a margarita or whiskey glass rimmed with Tajin.
